Aaron Cook rejoins British Taekwondo
European champion Aaron Cook has trained with his own staff since leaving the national programme in June 2011 after the disappointment of first-round elimination at last year’s World Championships in Korea.
However, upcoming major events this year such as the European Championships and the London 2012 Olympic Games require that Cook train with former coaches and support staff from British Taekwondo.
Aaron Cook will join the British Team participating at the European Championships, which will take place on May 3rd – 6th in Manchester, UK:

Jade Jones, bronze medalist at the last European Championships, will be back from injury but is optimistic as she aims for the gold this time.
Sarah Stevenson’s cruciate ligament surgery in February is preventing her from participating at the European Championships this year, and although she is optimistic as well, her participation at the London 2012 Olympic Games is still doubtful.
British Taekwondo will be selecting its four Olympic representatives at the end of May.
