Daedo PSS selected for Nianjing Youth Olympics Qualification and World Junior Champs 2014

The World Taekwondo Federation has selected the Protector and Scoring System (PSS) created by the Spanish brand Daedo as the system to be used at the upcoming WTF Qualification Tournament for Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games (March 20-21) and 10th WTF World Junior Taekwondo Championships (March 23-26), to be held in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei.
As the Taekwondo governing body worldwide, the WTF has the right to choose which PSS brand will be used in all its competitions after counducting a fair and transparent bidding process. Daedo presented its proposal to the WTF on Novermber 11th and was informed that their bid had been accepted on December 2nd on occasion of the PSS Working Group meeting held in Abidjan. The PSS provider and event sponsorship contract was expected to be signed on December 13rd in Manchester (UK), but the final decision was finally posponed as the WTF Technical Committee had a workshop sccheduled for last weekend (January 13-15).
The WTF decision wasn’t strictly based on the sponsorship offer, as the PSS Working Group did also evaluate the technical aspects of both PSS systems, their experience in relevant competitons and other factors.
For now, this is the only official information available regarding the PSS brand that will be used at Nianing 2014 Youth Olympic Games, as KP&P PSS has not yet been confirmed as the winning bidder.
The Organizing Committee of both events and Daedo will get in touch in the coming days to start the preparations of what are expected to be two of the most relevant WTF competitions of 2014.
Thus, Daedo secures its presence in two more relevant events, following the success reached at London 2012 Olympics, Puebla 2013 World Championships and Manchester 2013 Grand Prix.
Daedo is currently working hard to have everything ready for both events as it continues to improve both its PSS and the Electronig Head Gear.

    The highest bidder wins…
KP&P is much better than Daedo.
