Day 2 – Report
Korea grabbed 3 more golds (Dae-Hoon Lee, Seung-Hwan Lee and Ah-Reum Lee) in the second day of action at Australian Open 2015 to finish on top of the medal count with 5 titles, folowed by China, who collected 2 new gold medals (Jingyu Wu and Shuyin Zheng) to make a total of 4.
Thailand clinched 1 title (Sonkham) to make a total of 2, while France climbed two times (Niare and Maizeroi) to the top of the podium, finishing the event with 2 golds as well.
The other 2 gold medals were awarded to Spain (Longobardi), and Kazakhstan (Mamayev).

Day 1 – Report
China and Korea took 2 gold medals each in the first day of action at Australian Open 2015, a G-2 category event which will be on until next Sunday in the city of Melbourne. A total of six Kyorugi Senior categories were completed on Friday, with the other 2 titles being awarded to Uzbekistan and Thailand.
The main names of Chinese and Korean success on this opening day were Hua Zhang (CHN), champion of the Female -62 kg division after withdrawal of Korean Kim in the final, Jiannan Huang (CHN), gold medalist of the Men’s -74 kg category after beating Hun Kim from Korea by 8-7 in the sudden death period, world number 1 Tae-Hun Kim (KOR), who smashed Thai Sawekwiharee 17-6 in Men’s -54 kg crucial fight, and An Saebom, who tasted gold in Women’s +73 kg after clearly beating Li from China by 16-9.
The other 2 athletes to climb to the top of the podium on Friday were world champion Dmitriy Shokin from Uzbekistan, who struggled to defeat Jo from Korea in the Male’s +87 kg final by 10-8, and Panipak Wongpattanakit from Thailand, who got rid of Lin from Chinese Taipei by 12-6 in the Female’s -46 kg gold medal match.
