The 12th Arab Games Taekwondo competition ended on December 17th with two gold medals for Egypt, one for Jordan and one for Morocco.
In the male -68kg, Abdallah Ahmed (Egypt) made it to the final after beating Said Salih (Qatar) in the semifinal and winning 9-6 in the final against Hussein Bahadil (Iraq).

In the +87kg category, Jordanian Mohammad Imar won by 16-4 against Egyptian Mohamed Hassan in the final, after winning the semifinal due to Abdelqader Aladhmi(Qatar)’s withdrawal.

Another Egyptian, Hedaya Wahba (women -57kg), got a gold medal in the last day of the competition, by winning 7-6 against Moroccan Hajiba Enhari by sudden death point. In the semifinal against Hadeel Fawzy (Qatar) the scoreboard was busier, showing a final score of 21-1.

Moroccan Wiam Dislam (women +73kg) got another gold for her country after winning 5-2 in the final against Egyptian Heba Morsi.
The Arab Games Taekwondo competition ended with Egypt as the country with most gold medals (five) followed by Tunisia, with four gold medals.
