Spain was the most successful nation at Polish Open 2015 with a total of 3 Senior titles, taken by Olympic champion Joel Gonzalez, Raul Martinez and Junior world champion Jesus Tortosa.
Gonzalez tasted gold in the Men’s -63 kg division after smashing Khalil from Australia in the final by 9-0. The bronzes were taken by Bahrami (AZE) and Millert (POL).
Martinez climbed to the top of the Men’s-74 kg category after Maizeroi had to withdraw from the big final, leaving the lower step of the podium to Satsyk (BLR) and Guliyev (AZE).
Tortosa proved to be the strongest athlete in the Men’s -54 kg division after getting rid of Cater from Great Britain by 20-14 in an spectacular final.
The Serbian golds were awarded to Jovanov (M-87) and Gladovic (W-53), while the remaining 3 titles were taken by Malak (EGY), Kouttouki (CYP) and world champion Bianca Walkden (GBR).
