Seniors – Report
Croatia shone at the 24th edition of the Polish Open after clinching 3 Senior titles in Warsaw last weekend. Belgium, France, Russia, Serbia and Germany grabbed 2 gold medals each, while Turkey, Moldova and Norway grabbed 1 title each to complete the 16 Senior divisions in competition.
The golden athletes for Croatia in Polish territory were: Hrvoje Sep, who reigned in Men’s -87 kg after getting rid of Kamalov from Russia by 8-2; Kristina Beros, who proved to be the strongest fighter in Women’s -62 kg after defeating Mazurek from Poland by a clear 34-6; and Doris Pole, who climbed to the top of the Women’s -67 kg podium after beating Dyngeland from Poland by 10-5.
