Spanish Federation and Gyeonggido Federation sign new MOU

The Spanish Taekwondo Federation and the Gyeonggido Taekwondo Federation (Korea) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the further development of Taekwondo through both federations.
The Spanish Taekwondo Federation and the Gyeonggido Taekwondo Federation had already signed a MOU back in 2002 and have kept a good relationship so far. However, this new MOU goes well beyond a mere exchange relationship and will involve more active efforts in the development of Taekwondo.
Among the most important points of this new MOU is the maximum collaboration from the Gyeonggido Taekwondo Federation whenever the Spanish National Team visits Korea for an off-season training.
Both federations have agreed to continue specifying the details on their mutual collaboration hereafter.
During their meeting, Mr. Yun-Kook Park (President of Gyeonggido Taekwondo Federation) congratulated Mr. Jesús Castellanos (President of Spanish Taekwondo Federation) for their excellent results at the London 2012 Olympic Games and expressed his hopes for a closer collaboration between both federations. Mr. Castellanos thanked Mr. Park for the Gyeonggido Federation’s kind attention and thoughtful consideration.
