Tunisia is Leader in Gold Medals on 3rd day of Arab Games

Tunisian athletes had a successful day on December 16th, the third day of the Arab Games 2011 Taekwondo competition in Doha: three of the four gold medals went to their athletes.
Ouahid Briki (Tunisia) won the male -63kg category final against Kanaan Kanaan (Jordan) by sudden death point, after beating Ahmed Soliman (Egypt) 13-5 in the semifinal. Rahma Ben Ali (Tunisia, female -53kg) won also by sudden death point against Jordanian Shahd Tarman.
Khaoula Ben Hamza (Tunisia, female -73kg) beat Jordanian Rima Ananbeh after a semifinal against Abrar Alfahad (Kuwait) that ended with an impressive 16-0.
In the male -87kg, Ali Haggag (Egypt) made it to the final after winning 13-6 against Palestinian Mohammed Kahla. In the final match he met Abdulkarim Moosa Danar (Bahrain) and won 8-5.
With one more day to go, Tunisia is the country with the most gold medals. Its athletes have won a total of four gold medals, one in a male category and three in female categories. The second country with most gold medals is Egypt, with three in total.
