World Taekwondo Kyorugi Rankings: July 2019 – Top 10

Wongpattanakit, Kudashova, Jones, Yaman, Tatar, Mandic, Walkden, Bae, Kim, Zhao, Lee, Kanaet, Larin and In retain their first place in the standings, while Yong and Cisse overtake Sim and Beigi Harchegani

Take a look at the current status of the 16 weight division rankings of the World Taekwondo as of June 1st 2019. Eight male athletes and eight female fighters lead each of the standings and are considered the current dominators of our sport worldwide.

Panipak Wongpattanakit (Thailand) leads the Women’s -49 kg division, Tatiana Kudashova (Russia) comands the -53 kg one, Jade Jones (Great Britain) does the same in Women’s -57 kg, Irem Yaman from Turkey (Daedo Team) holds the first place in Women’s -62 kg, Nur Tatar (Turkey) retains the Women’s -62 kg first place, Milica Mandic of Serbia (Daedo Team) repeats as the best Women’s -73 kg qualified athlete, and Bianca Walkden (Great Britain) reigns in Women’s +73 kg one more month.

In the Men’s caegories, Jun-seo Bae (Korea) stays in the top spot of the Men’s -54 kg class, Tae-hun Kim also from Korea (Daedo Team) keeps setting the pace in Men’s -58 kg, Shuai Zhao (China) comands in Men’s -63 kg, Taekwondo superstar Dae-hoon Lee (Daedo Team) of Korea dominates the Men’s -68 kg division, Toni Kanaet (Croatia) holds the top spot in Men’s -74 kg, Vladislav Larin repeats once again as the best in Men’s -87 kg and Kyo-don In retains his first place in the Men’s +87 kg standings.

The two main changes in the standings have been Yvette Yong’s (Canada) and Cheick Sallah Cisse (Daedo Team – Ivory Coast) respectively overtaking Jae-young Sim (Korea) and Milad Beigi Harchegani (Azerbaijan) in the Women’s -46 kg and Men’s -80 kg classes.

The points awarded to each athlete take into consideration all the events held until the end of June 2019 on the World Taekwondo official calendar.
