World Training Camp and World Taekwondo Open dates confirmed
Following its intention to help the attending athletes with their training for the Puebla 2013 World Taekwondo Championships, La Loma High Performance Centre (Mexico) has confirmed that its two most relevant events of this year, the World Training Camp and the World Taekwondo Open, will be finally held at the end of March.
World Training Camp
The World Training Camp will last from the 24th to the 29th of March and will offer the participants the opportunity to train with the best fighters worldwide during six consecutive days. The athletes will be divided into different categories depending on their age and grade and will take a total of 3 training sessions per day.
Olympic National Teams will also be welcome to join the camp and will be offered Daedo Protector and Scoring Systems (PSS) to better prepare for the World Championships, to be held in the Mexican city of Puebla next July. All athletes will also be able to sleep and eat at La Loma HPC facilites.
World Taekwondo Open
The 7th edition of the World Taekwondo Open, which will be held between the 30th and the 31st of March, is expected to bring together around 2,500 fighters from 25 countries in all its categories. From pre-school athletes to Master athletes, all ages are welcome to participate in the event. The Olympic Senior division will use Daedo PSS in all its combats, as most of the participants will be preparing themselves for the WTF World Championships.
During its six previous editions, the World Taekwondo Open has been visited by around 13,000 athletes and has brought together more than 18,000 spectators.
