WTF Olympic Rankings: June 2015 – Top 16 by weight category
Only one change on the top of the 8 races to Rio 2016 Olympics has been made from last month’s rankings, as Eva Calvo from Spain has taken advantage of her silver medal in Chelyabinsk 2015 World Championships to take the first position of the Women’s -57 kg standings, overtaking the reigning Olympic champion Jade Jones (GBR), who stays now in second place.
The other 7 Olympic weight rankings are led again by Zaninovic from Croatia (F-49), Johansson from Sweden (F-67), Mandic from Serbia (F+67), Ashour from Iran (M-58), Denisenko from Russia (M-68), Khodabakhshi from Iran (M-80) and Baykuziyev from Uzbekistan (M+80).
There have also been some athletes who were not within the top 16 who have managed to appear on the selected list, as Romoldanova (UKR) and Ha (KOR) in Women’s -49 kg, Lim (KOR) in Women’s -57 kg, Oh (KOR), Tatar (TUR), Yaman (TUR), Dumar (COL) and Calvo (ESP) in Women’s -67 kg, Zheng (CHN) in Women’s +67 kg, Denisov (RUS) and Navarro (MEX) in Men’s -58 kg, Jennings (USA) in Men’s -68 kg, Oueslati (TUN) in Men’s -80 kg and Shokin (UKR) and Castillo (CUB) in Men’s +80 kg.
